Bible Verse: Joshua 1:9; 5:15—6:27

Memory Verse: Joshua 1:9
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and
courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged,
for the Lord your God will be with you where ever you go.

• Have you ever felt afraid?

• Have you ever been unsure about what will happen tomorrow?

• Have things ever seemed out of control?

If you have ever felt scared or worried God wants you
to know that He is always in control. No matter how big
or scary a situation seems, God is BIGGER! Joshua
and the Israelites discovered this when they came to
the city of Jericho. Jericho stood in their way of going
to the Promised Land but God helped them overcome
their big problem. Whenever you feel like you don’t
know what to do, remember God is in control and He is
there to help you.
